No — submitting an application and getting a basic profile in the directory is free. Every application is reviewed by our team first, who check the details and activate the profile once verification is complete.
How long does verification take, and when will my profile appear?
We usually respond within 2-3 business days of receiving your application. Every application is reviewed individually — we check the information provided and the credibility of the business before the profile goes live in the directory. If anything needs clarifying, we will reach out by email or phone.
Will my profile be activated automatically after I submit the form?
No — no application is activated automatically. Every submission goes through manual review by our team, and we only add the profile to the directory once that review is complete. This keeps the directory reliable for the people using it.
My country is not live on WhereIsCannabis yet — can I still apply?
Yes — choose "Global / not country-specific" in the form, or tell us about your country in the message. We keep applications from markets that are not live yet and follow up once that country goes live.
I operate in several countries — how should I apply?
It depends on the nature of your business. If you run a physical location (e.g. a pharmacy, dispensary, or clinic with an address), your application relates to the country where you physically operate. If you provide services that are not tied to one location — e.g. telemedicine consultations or online prescriptions available in multiple countries — select every country you serve in the form so we can account for it during review.
What information do I need to apply?
Just your basic contact and business details — name, contact information, country/city of operation, and a short description of what you do. No documents are required at the application stage — if anything is needed for verification, we will ask for it individually.
Which industries can apply to WhereIsCannabis?
The directory covers the whole cannabis industry: pharmacies, dispensaries, cannabis social clubs, Anbauvereine, clinics and doctors, event organizers, accessory shops, growers/producers, brands, investors, and media. If your business does not fit neatly into any of these, choose "Other" and describe it in the message.
What happens if my application does not pass verification?
