The WhereIsCannabis map is an interactive directory of legal cannabis-related venues worldwide — pharmacies, clinics, doctors, dispensaries, social clubs and other categories, depending on what's legal in each country.

What's the difference between the map view and the list view?

The list shows results as cards with full contact details, while the map lets you see the same venues visually, relative to each other and to your location.

Why do different countries show different categories on the map?

Because the legal status of cannabis varies country by country — Poland and Germany use a prescription-based medical model, Spain and Malta have cultivation clubs, the Netherlands has coffeeshops. The map only shows categories that are actually legal and active in each country.

Can I filter results by category and country at the same time?

Yes — choose a country and category at the top of the map, and the results (list, map and grid below) update automatically, without reloading the page.

Is using the map free?

Yes, browsing the map and all listings is completely free for users.

How often is the map data updated?

The data comes from the venues themselves and from available public registries, and is updated on an ongoing basis.

Can I submit my business to appear on the map?

Yes — on an unclaimed listing's profile you'll find a claim button, or contact us via the "For businesses" section.

Why don't I see my country on the map?

The map only shows countries where the directory is already active. New countries are added over time — if yours isn't available yet, check back later.
